that bossy SM finally left. for good, i hope. yesterday was her last day and she never fails to make known who's in charge even to the last minute. and also, she never fails to piss me off once-quite-often. anyway, she's passe now... there may be some reshuffling in the buddy system, very much depends on the new SM's decision. now, i couldn't really be bothered who's going to be my big sister / brother coz' they're input with the same mentality which develop a vicious cycle to the future generations.
i was issued an ID recently for lateness. damn. it was my 3rd-in-charge who issued. and i don't really understand their meaning of lateness. the way i was briefed contradicts the actual meaning of lateness. to put it simply, somehow there was no clarity of what's late and what's not.
for example: today, my 2nd warn me about being late. and i didn't really understand where she's coming from. the reporting time was 9am, especially early. according to my watch, i was on-time. too bad that my watch doesn't come with second-hand, i can't really tell if i was seconds late. so when i arrived, she was obviously there waiting for me.
what i understand was as a Senior, u need to arrive at least 15 mins earlier than the reporting time. or not, i would be considered as late. if the person-in-charge happens to come later than the Senior, then that would be on-time. seriously, what kind of logic is that?
to me, if i would be judged on my punctuality by the time the person-in-charge arrives, then why should there be a "reporting time" in the 1st place? all the more they shouldn't put it as "reporting time" but simply state it as the time the in-charge arrives! then, i should be contacting the in-charge to check what time he/she would arrived so as to be deemed punctual.
then again, think about it: let's take it as ALL staff in the office reports to work at 9am. if one fine day the Boss comes at 8.30am, while the rest of the staffs reports on time, should the staffs be condemned of lateness?
the thing i couldn't accept is, why must the SM comes later than the others then they would be considered punctual? should SM possessed such authority? and why create this kind of "grey" area for the REAL meaning of reporting time? is it coz' SM are such noble creatures that they can't afford to wait a while?? snobbish!
seriously, if ever i climbed to an in-charge, i'll change the culture of the shop. but that's still quite a while to go... till then, i don't know how would the new SM be performing. would she be someone i'll respect? or is she someone of no difference to the previous one? if so, i would think most SMs are made up of unscrupulous arseholes who would take credit upon their team members' hard work. perhaps, i may be determined to create a difference... haa...

just when i thought....*sigh*
i haven't really got the energy and/or the time to blog nowsdays. lack of manpower, what could be helped? sigh...
below's my roster as of Monday, 16/4. somehow, i'm getting quite used to the hectic schedule. or is that really hectic? i don't know. i'm getting quite numb though...
Monday - Full
Tuesday - 2pm to 6pm
Wednesday - Morning
Thursday - Afternoon
Friday - Morning
Saturday - Rest Day
Sunday - Afternoon
i guess the only thing that fustrates me now is that despite they state a certain time for knock-off, they'll never let us go on time. think they're quite insensitive though. i mean, due to the lack of manpower issue, all of us don't get to enjoy the "3 days, 1 day rest" practice that is implemented by the management to all retail outlets. yet, when there's a chance to drag, they would not be ashamed of it. it's like you've stretched my energy level to my max already and what more you want?
and i guess it should be a norm to work in an Asian society huh?
worse to come, YM is going to Taiwan again soon. and he could still tell me that's an incentive given to him for good performance. duh. he may not go over for leisure but he's exempted for some training that would be for the rest of his team. so am i s'pose to be happy for him??
i'm so tired.
my juniors asked to me request the days off. but i thought, whichever day i request, the rest of the week wouldn't be too much of the difference. so i didn't see a point to request anything, unless i really wanted to do something on a particular day. looks like i need to request it on the day YM's leaving... this time i'm not requesting to do something i wanted to do, and it's quite demoralizing.
i'm mentally unwell at the moment. so that's all for a depressing entry.

my rest day yesterday...
wah, it felt SOOOO good to just sleep on my rest day! and i do nothing else other than spending time with YM. i'm contented. hee....
anyway, as the day on Thursday itself came to an end where i'm assisting my 3rd-in-charge to close shop, i was feeling pretty excited about my rest day. even though there weren't any plans made other than going over to his place for a short stay, i couldn't wait to feEL my rest day after having my roster stretching my energy level to its max. finally i got to rest real good, recharged. and the highlight is...
i shall present you my new love:
TA-DA!!!

ain't she a beauty?? it was love at first sight, mind you... *sigh*...
i still missed my k700i though. i missed her functions and all, especially her LED light where it came in handy most of the time. well, her condition was quite jia lat till i almost thought i'll never get her sold. never mind... i felt bad talking about her. haa...
FYI, this is the only phone that i didn't do my homework in the reviews and other feedbacks. at the moment, i'm quite contented with its functions and all (esp the CAMERA!!). so hope i'll not find anything drastic that would harm the image for the time being.
right now, i'm broke. no more mah-nie till pay day @ 28th. 2 weeks more... sianz.

i'm whining...
how long have i worked with Gio already? almost one month per say. it wasn't long for me to start developing some grievances at work. nothing serious, other than i can't really click with the SM and my horrid roster. maybe i'm stretched to my max and i'm really tired out, i can't help feeling cranky and all.
if it wasn't for my sore eye last week, i would have worked much more than required of me, even though i already have.
Monday - 2pm to 6pm
Tuesday - Full @ RP
Wednesday - Afternoon
Thursday - Full
Friday - Rest Day, finally
Saturday - Morning
Sunday - Morning
madness huh? i've briefly calculated the number of hours to be clocked for this week - 49 hours excluding lunch break and the possibility of not having to sign out on time. and the week before, they owe me 5 hours of OT. if they're not able to offset my OT, they would pay me back in cash 1.5 times per hour rate. so if i'm to fulfill my roster this week, they would owe me another 5 or more hours. can you imagine it's only the 2nd week of April and i've earned about 100 odd bucks of OT?
but seriously, i would rather get the rest days than to get the cash though...
like what YM told me, other than the fact that there wasn't enough manpower, all in-charges would put their interest before the welfare of their team. despite it's human nature, i felt really sad though.
never mind. i should look forward to Friday, my PRECIOUS rest day. anyway, i will be grateful that i'm only on 4 hours shift today. i really am.
